November 1st – World Vegan Day
Published October 30, 2015
It’s World Vegan Day! Founded in 1994, this day is to celebrate the anniversary of the term “vegan” and the creation of The Vegan Society. On this day, we also celebrate the launch of World Vegan Month, where we spread knowledge and share food and tips in hopes of spreading a plant-based lifestyle. Whether hosting a potluck or going to one, we’ve got you covered with these delicious Vegan recipes!
Hot Cheesy Corn Dip – Too good to pass up. One bite and next thing you know this dip will be gone!
Broccoli Grape Salad – Don’t let the fact that it’s a salad fool you, this one packs so many flavors in one bowl, it’s insane!
Portobello Arugula Pizzas – These adorable personal pizzas will have everyone’s belly smiling.
While vegans often are wrongly reputed to be preachy and alienating, this is a day to change that perception by being encouraging, sharing, and open to inviting omni’s to try the plant-based lifestyle. Go out there and celebrate!
