Balsamic Mushroom & Onion Panini
INGREDIENTS
- 1 chopped onion
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar (or balsamic glaze)
- pinch of salt
- Follow Your Heart Original Vegenaise
- Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Finely Shredded Mozzarella
- panini bread
- chives (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a frying pan, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat and place chopped onions and sliced mushrooms in the pan. Add salt and stir to combine. Sauté for about 10 minutes or until browned.
- Add balsamic vinegar and stir until mushrooms and onions are coated evenly. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
- Spread Vegenaise on the outside of the bread and begin assembling panini by adding the Finely Shredded Mozzarella and veggies.
- Place panini in panini press and grill for about 5 minutes on medium-high setting until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
- Sprinkle on chives and enjoy!
