Dairy-Free 7 Layer Dip
INGREDIENTS
- 1 15oz can of vegetarian refried beans
- ½ cup non-dairy milk
- 3 cups prepared guacamole
- 2 large ripe avocados
- ½ medium red onion, diced
- 1 – 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and diced
- 1 small tomato, diced
- ¼ cup cilantro leaves, chopped
- 2 tsp lime juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 ½ cups Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Sour Cream
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- ½ tbsp lime juice
- 2 ½ cups prepared salsa
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ medium red onion, diced
- 1 jalapenõ or serrano pepper, diced
- ¼ cup cilantro leaves, roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 7oz package Follow Your Heart Finely Shredded Cheddar
- 1 2.25oz can diced black olives
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add beans and non-dairy milk to a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir to incorporate and cook until smooth and creamy, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool
- If making from scratch, prepare guacamole and salsa separately. Set aside in separate bowls.
- Mix together sour cream, taco seasoning, and lime juice. Season to taste
- In a large baking dish, spread thick layer of refried beans. Next, spread layer of guacamole, till smooth and even. Follow with layer of sour cream mixture. Then, spread salsa evenly over sour cream. Next, add layer of Finely Shredded Cheddar, sprinkle olives, and top with sliced green onion.
- Serve with chips and enjoy!
