Jalapeño Parmesan Crusted Pizza Waffles
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package pizza dough
- ⅓ cup Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Finely Shredded Mozzarella
- plant-based pepperoni slices or your favorite pizza toppings
- 1 tsp oregano seasoning
- diced jalapeños
- Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Shredded Parmesan for topping
- ¼ cup pizza sauce for dipping
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat waffle iron and spray with cooking spray.
- Unroll Pizza dough and cut to rectangle shape (make sure it will fit in your waffle iron after folded).
- Add Dairy-Free Finely Shredded Mozzarella and pepperoni slices in the center of the pizza dough and season with oregano.
- Fold over all four sides of the pizza dough and press edges to seal.
- Place dough on the pre-heated waffle iron and top with Dairy-Free Shredded Parmesan and Jalapeño slices.
- Close waffle iron and cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
