Whipped Feta Dip
INGREDIENTS
- 6 oz Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Feta Crumbles
- 8 oz Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Cream Cheese
- ¾ cup Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
Greek Style Salad:
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
- small cucumber seeds removed and sliced
- 1/3 cup mixed Greek olives sliced
- 2 tbsp good olive oil
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp fresh oregano chopped
- 2 tsp fresh parsley chopped
- salt & pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Allow the Dairy-Free Sour Cream, Cream Cheese, and Feta Crumbles to come to room temperature.
- Make the Greek style salad by combining the tomatoes, cucumbers and olives in a bowl. Add the chopped oregano, parsley, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt & pepper. Mix well and set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
- Add the room temperature Dairy-Free Cream Cheese and Sour Cream to a large bowl and using a hand mixer, mix until light and fluffy.
- Add in the Dairy-Free Feta Crumbles, lemon juice, salt & pepper then use the hand mixer again until well combined. Gently fold in the chopped oregano and set aside.
- Add the whipped feta dip to a bowl and top half of the dip with the mixed Greek style salad.
- Serve with slices of cucumber, pita bread or use it to top grilled bread.
