Veggie Platter Dip Duo

“Bacon” Bits

  • 1 block extra firm tofu
  • 1/4 cup tamari or soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp maple syrup or any other sweetener
  • 1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke (hickory)

“Bacon” bits

  1. Press the tofu between two towels and topped with something heavy, or use a tofu press.
  2. Preheat oven to 425F.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the tofu marinade ingredients. Whisk to combine.
  4. Crumble the pressed tofu block over the bowl with your hands or mash using a fork. Stir to coat the tofu with the marinade.
  5. Transfer the “bacon” mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.


  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Vegan Gourmet Sour Cream, Vegenaise, parsley, onion, and the seasonings. Stir to evenly combine.
  2. Once the bacon bits have cooled off, add them to the dip, followed by the Follow Your Heart Mozzarella Shreds and fold in gently.
  3. Refrigerate 2 hours (for the flavors to develop even more, optional).
  4. Top with extra “bacon” and cheese and serve!
  5. Store, covered or in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Ranch Dip

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Refrigerate two hours. (Optional)
  3. Serve cold as desired. Store, sealed, in the refrigerator for up to 7 days

Serve with your favorite fresh veggies, washed, peeled, chopped, however you like them!
