BBQ Chicken Wonton Cups
INGREDIENTS
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 cup diced plant-based chicken
- ¼ cup barbeque sauce
- Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Finely Shredded Cheddar
- Follow Your Heart Dairy-Free Finely Shredded Mozzarella
- chopped green onions for garnish
- Follow Your Heart Ranch Dressing for dipping
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Spray a 12 cup muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place one wonton wrapper in each cup and press down in the center. Pre-bake wonton wrappers for about 8 minutes until light golden brown.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook plant-based chicken according to package instructions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine diced plant-based chicken and barbeque sauce. Mix by hand until chicken is well coated.
- Spoon chicken into pre-baked wonton shells. Top with Dairy-Free Finely Shredded Cheddar and Mozzarella Cheeses.
- Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and wontons are golden brown. If necessary, cover with foil for the last few minutes to prevent over browning.
- Remove from oven and garnish with green onions.
